The river stones used for these buttons where collected during walks alongside a river called the ‘Waal’ next to the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. These stones where naturally formed by the elements.

After careful selection for strength, beauty and thickness, the stones are drilled by hand to make two holes. Because of the natural origin of this product each button will have a different shape and size. The Buttons are made to be used. These buttons are intermittently available in the shop
