A site specific performance combined with temporary product made for the exhibition ‘never ending art’. The location was a relatively young forest next to the city of Almere, province of Flevoland. This province is the youngest province of the Netherlands. The land of this province has been dry bedded in 1968. The performance encompassed a celebration of the youth of the forest. Part of the performance where custom designed and handmade biodegradable party hats made from paper with embedded flower seeds. The paper party hats where finished with strings made from hand spun wool from local sheep or organic silk ribbon. Visitors became part of the performance giving them the opportunity to leave behind the hats on a self chosen spot as a gift to the forest. The goal was to help the forest grow and become more beautiful.
